The initial connection was very long. They supposed to connect us with fibre in our previous house. Actually, we lived in a unit. It took about 2 months for them to do it. After that, they had troubles with the owner of the other unit as he was unhappy about visible cables around his part of the house. So as it turned out they had not realized that this house has 2 different owners. It was an unpleasant experience.

I've been with My Republic for 3 yrs. Customer service was initially reasonable, though activation and switching have been problematic all along. Lately customer service has been HORRIBLE. I cannot switch away fast enough from this company - avoid at all costs.

Terrible!!! The sooner our contract ends the better! We still struggle with our connection. We're onto our 3rd modem now as you can't have more than 2 things connected to the internet at any one time. The email bill never matches what the actual account is. I've had arguments with one call centre lady there more than once when phoning. I had to tell her to write down the lights that were / weren't working during one of the phone calls as she couldn't get it right when repeating back to me. I'm so gutted we signed up with these guys! What a huge mistake!!

It was a terrible idea to switch to this ISP. Very slow internet, .... i am not getting the speed what i was promised. Waiting for the contract to end...

Horrible service. The switch went off without a hitch. But since then I have had intermittent service with daily drops (2-3 or more times a day resetting the router). They finally sent me a new router which didn't work with the technician on the phone and then they accused me of never plugging it in! They also accused me of not being connected to the router?? (Well, DUH! If the router isn't up I can't connect to it can I?)Their customer service is absolutely shocking. They do not respond to emails, they only respond when you shame them on Facebook and then the response is sarcastic and unhelpful. They had rather blame their customer than take responsibility for their own dodgy equipment. I do not recommend this ISP.

Poor sign up process, they do not ask for specific dates or provide the switch over dates they organize with UFF. Now i am having to pay another provider for a months service which is already disconnected

MyRepublic is not a member of the Telecommunications Dispute Resolution service. Therefore you are at their mercy if they decide to be unfair. Stay away from MyRepublic. There are plenty of other options from organisations who are not afraid to be held accountable. This company is not one of them!!!!

Billing is also dodgy and they kept charging after we left our apartment. Multiple attempts to address the issue were ignored. I would avoid at all cost.

I am having a terrible experience with their billing. They changed the invoice due date without notification, and have consequently applied a late fee when I paid on the previous agreed date (20th of the month). Their response to reviewing that is completely arrogant and unbending, and I would heartily recommend avoiding them.

I cant complain about the internet speed.. HOWEVER.. the customer service is absolutely terrible!! to get any contact you have to chat with them online and good luck if your phone screen locks because you will start from square one. I cant even send an email to them to lodge a query because they dont even provide an email address.
