Allianz New Zealand Ltd officially transferred their insurance business to the NZ branch of Allianz Australia Insurance Limited last January 2013 as approved by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.

For your daily driving needs, try Allianz Car Insurance and see how well they translate their expertise into their auto-insurance offerings.
Allianz have a strong experience and long history, allowing them to create car insurance deals that work for an array of different budget levels. From a comprehensive policy that covers extreme damage sustained by your vehicle to third party policies that’s better suited for drivers on a budget, Allianz Car Insurance have something to offer you!
This is Allianz’s full cover policy, which provides coverage for damages caused to another’s car or property and your own vehicle. They even offer legal liability protection if you’re using a substitute vehicle while your car is being repaired.
Third party car insurance only covers accidental damages to other people’s property. It won’t cover damages sustained by your vehicle.
This covers you for legal liability of up to $1 million for damages to other people’s automobile and property. This also covers the perils of fire and theft, paying up to the market value or the sum insured depending on which costs less.
You’ll need to check in with their travel insurance policy for this but Allianz also offers rental car insurance for protection while driving abroad. While you may not need all the coverage when travelling with a rental car, it’s recommended to always get the collision damage waiver, which will cover you in case the rental vehicle was damaged or stolen.
Aside from paying your premiums, you and the person you keep in charge of your vehicle need to ensure the safety of the vehicle. Examples of these are:
Not taking any willful, reckless actions that can cause damages or loss of your vehicle
Informing the police of incidents involving your vehicle such as arson, theft, etc.
Providing the full particulars of any claim made against you
Not starting repairs without Allianz’ prior approval
Alliance Insurance usually excludes the following:
Loss or damage to tyres unless they are damaged around the same time as other insured components of the vehicle
Standard depreciation and wear and tear of the vehicle
Any existing defects from bad workmanship and poor materials from manufacturing
Damages caused by calamities covered under the Earthquake Commission Act 1993
Check your policy thoroughly to know the full scope of your coverage when you sign up with Allianz.

I was a little hesitant to stay on the call when I first picked up but I’m glad I stayed until I did. Josua Legavai was the lovely lady taking care of me. She was so friendly, clear and helpful. She helped me understand everything I needed to and explained everything with great detail. I am still young and learning and have just moved into a new home with my son so I’m grateful she was able to help me today.
Highly recommend Jordan at Glimp, very professional and really good at her job! thank you for the help definitely saved me alot of time ready for our move thank you Jordan A+++++
I'm so happy I asked Glimp for help, to find a service provider that suits our family's budget, without losing quality and unlimited data on both our mobile phones and broadband. Mele Falahola is a Comparison Specialist from Glimp and she was amazing from the beginning. Mele located the right service provider for our needs that will save us money!, fulfil our usage and more! compared to what we were using. My wife and I even asked for a comparison on our electricity bill. Mele responded immediately once she saw our monthly bills and compared it to another provider that not only do not required a contract to stick too (like the mobile and broadband provider Mele recommended) but their price per kWh was so much better! Which is why we changed that also. Thank you Mele and Glimp for your help. We can now look forward to our Christmas holiday in the Cook Islands from what we can now save. :-)
