Their internal communications can do with some tweaking as either it doesn't seem like the office staff knows what the technicians are doing OR the technicians don't communicate to office staff on cancellations etc. and it ended up costing us another week to wait and then some more to enable us to connect as the helpline staff were unable to confirm completion with the technician as it does not seem that the technicians answer their calls and so the list goes on. So, in short, getting fibre installed at first is a very long wait, but once up and running things are sweet.

didn't even manage to change over in the end since they kept getting the sccount number for my former provider wrong and trying to phone me when I was at work and could not answer the phone, then when I had the morning free for the changeover they could not phone back till after midday nearly time to leave for work, and then the site went off line as they were reconfiguring the modenm which I had already set up and was working fine - prior to this several waits of about 90 minutes to get through to reply to their call

Internet speed is awful, cuts out all the time. Paying $120 a month for internet that is more often than not slower than dial-up...

There speed is far faster than vodafone vdsl, they are probably the cheapest on the market. But there customer service is rubbish and there time frame to fix issues are much to be desired and there problem solving skills or working with the customer is non excitant

Service really friendly (when you finally get through - why don't they do the call back thing??) they told us the switch was happening on 30/7 and our old provider turned off but they didn't turn on! When finally got through was given 50GB to hotspot and it was on the following morning. Watching Netflix last night and it dropped out ... but the price is right

2degrees is one of the largest broadband and mobile providers in New Zealand. They have a range of fibre and wireless broadband options with an extensive network throughout the nation. If you live an area where ADSL and VDSL broadband plans are the only connections available, 2degrees may also offer this plan for as low as $99 per month.
300GB Wireless 4G is the best option for very light users who may not need as much data, but still want a reliable connection with average 4G speeds of 33Mbps.
If you live in an area where 5G connection is fast and strong, take advantage of this network through 2degrees’ Unlimited Wireless 5G.
New Zealand is better connected with 4G networks, making 2degrees Unlimited Wireless 4G a more widely available choice for Kiwis who want to connect wirelessly.
Fibre Starter is one of the best broadband plans for light to medium internet users. It’s a great option if you simply want a reliable wired internet connection with consistent speeds.
2degrees’ Unlimited offers the fastest fibre broadband speeds that average users may require. It should be more than enough even for simultaneous online gaming and streaming.
2degrees’ Ultimate Unlimited works for bigger households with up to ten heavy users, who do simultaneous online gaming and high-quality streaming.
Hyperfibre 2 is ideal for small businesses, allowing for quick, reliable, and strong internet connection that can address all your business requirements.
Hyperfibre 4 is the best-of-the-best broadband of 2degrees. It’s an industrial-grade broadband plan that can handle anything you throw at it.
2degrees’ 170GB Rural Wireless 4G is designed specifically for rural NZ. It connects to expansive 4G networks for fast and reliable connection even on remote locations.
2degrees uses its own network to ensure its reliable broadband is delivered just as it’s intended. In areas where their own networks aren’t available, they use Vodafone networks for wireless 4G and 5G connections.
If you’re in an open-term plan, you can cancel your 2degrees plan at any time without any fees—simply let them know ahead of time.
On the other hand, if you have a fixed-term plan—be it for 12 months or 24 months—you may have to pay exit fees for terminating your plan in the middle of the contract.
You have to pay up to $199 for cancelling your fixed-term plan with 2degrees. You may also have to repay any promotional credit, discount, transfer charges applicable when you signed up to your broadband plan.
