Pulse Energy is a community owned energy retailer providing Electricity, Gas, Solar, Broadband and Landline Phone Packages to homes across New Zealand. Being independent enables Pulse Energy to purchase the best priced generation on the market and pass the benefits onto their customers.
Pulse Energy offer a low price upfront and no long term contracts. If customers need to leave, they simply need to give 30 days’ notice. If 30 days’ notice is not provided, then an Early Termination Fee of $150+GST will apply.

Pulse Energy Lifestyle is an electricity plan for New Zealand households that offers no credit checks or contracts and allows customers to top up and pay for their usage as and when they need. Pulse Low User Plan
Low users are those who use less than 8000Kwh per year (or 9000Kwh if you live in the bottom half of the South Island). 8000Kwh is the average amount of power that a two-person household will use in a year. A low user plan will charge you less per day, but the cost of electricity per unit is slightly higher.
Pulse Standard User Plan
If you use more than 8000Kwh per year, then you’re best suited with a standard user plan. This is generally suited to households with more than two occupants. However, if you only use the property during certain times of the year, or you’re very efficient with electricity, you’ll be best on the low user plan.
