For both Life Cover and Life Income Cover, the circumstances that allow you to increase the sum insured are:
1. Marriage or Civil Union
2. Having kids or legally adopting one
3. Taking out a mortgage
4. Salary increase
Do note that you need to apply for the Life Events Benefit within 180 days of the event happening or within 60 days of the anniversary date after such an event happens.
