Gravity Rural Broadband Plans
Gravity NZ realised that those living in remote parts of New Zealand have been somewhat neglected by other internet providers. So they’ve created a set of satellite broadband plans specifically for those who live ‘off-the-grid’. This way, you can finally be in control of your internet access, something which is becoming more and more important now that the world is living in the internet age.
Gravity Naked Broadband Plans
The base version of Gravity internet plans come naked, meaning you won’t need to pay for a landline unless you decide to add it into your plan. People are using their landlines less and less now that mobile infrastructure has become so secure. So if you don’t need a landline, Gravity won’t force it into your plan.
Gravity Landline Broadband Plans
The option to add a landline into your plan is always there with Gravity internet. They know that it isn’t a necessity for a lot of people anymore, so they offer landlines as an optional extra. It comes for an extra $29 per month and with a one-off installation fee of $59.
Gravity Unlimited Broadband Plans
If you want an internet connection just so you can do the basics - like emails and banking - then it’s best to opt for one of the capped data plans that Gravity NZ offers. However, if you are in a household with people who have different internet needs, or if you just want to watch videos and movies on platforms like Youtube or Netflix, then it’s safest to opt for the unlimited plan. We all know it can be a hassle if you run out of your data before the end of the month!
Gravity No Contract Broadband Plans
Since there is a fair bit of setup involved with getting Gravity internet plans, they have a different approach to no-contract broadband plans. They offer open contract plans, but with a higher install fee of $1499. On a 24-month contract, the install fees will only be $799 or $999.
