Spark NZ offers fast rural wireless broadband services to residential customers in remote communities. They transmit above-average internet speeds from their 4G network, meaning that your wireless internet connection should be much faster and more stable than ADSL broadband.
Spark have two major rural wireless broadband plans; rural wireless broadband, and rural wireless broadband with landline. If you’re less likely to use a landline plan, then a broadband-only plan is best for you. However, a Spark internet plan with a landline comes in handy, as they connect you to the public phone network where you can make local, national, international and mobile calls from your landline.
Spark Wireless Broadband is also part of the Rural Broadband Initiative, so you can trust that they cover a vast area of rural communities across New Zealand. Being wireless, it can cover more area than a wired connection.
Spark 4G Broadband utilises a reliable network. This is perfect for a wide range of online tasks such as checking emails, browsing through social media networks, and calling family and friends. Their 4G network can also support heavier online tasks such as watching videos online and downloading files!
The best part is – Spark allow you to move within the three price tiers according to your broadband data usage. This means that you can enjoy the freedom of using more data, without the fear of being overcharged.
The installation process of Spark Wireless Broadband is made quick and easy! As long as it’s available in your location, you can just plug your modem in, wait for the booting process, and you’re all set to go.
Another added benefit is the installation fee is free of charge. No complicated copper wire setup, no technicians, and no additional charges – just a simple plug and play!
Connecting to Spark Wifi is fast and simple. Under the wifi modem, there is an indicated print for the Wifi key. Take note of this and enter this code into your Wifi settings using your computer, laptop, or mobile phones. That’s it
If you’re installing a landline along with the broadband connection, you may need to wait at least an hour before you can hear the dial tone and make a call. You can also use a wireless telephone handset if you need to, so you can make calls in different areas of your household.

Filomena had amazing customer service! She was very polite and respectful. She also was great at listening to my needs and offering solutions with options that had great savings. I would give her 10 stars if that was an option. If I decide to go ahead I would choose to go have her help me again. I have not had the best experience in the past with customer service reps so I would like to thank her for making this experience a good one. Kind Regards, Selena
Very clear and concise information. Great price comparison for saving money on our monthly bills! Thanks Issac and Glimp! I can't wait to pass these savings on to my hard working family Adding onto my review as I think this is totally unacceptable to have people call you about switching companies and you agree to change and go through the process with Glimp and then get phone calls from supposed companies BEFORE you even get the email offer from supposed companies.
The customer service was very good. Very pleasant and friendly approach. Thanks again for your help. Saving of 280$ for the same quality and performance. Will use this agency to get another deal after 12 months.
My discussion with Tyron Kumar went very well. He was very patient and polite with my lack of knowledge of GBs etc. On the basis of our conversation I felt confident enough to change to 2 degrees immediately. I didn't give five stars because the sound was poor. It seemed as if there was a constant noise in the background and Tyron's voice had a slight echo as well.
