Ahoy, fellow readers!

Here at glimp.co.nz, we have decided that it would be cool to interview the broadband providers that we work with and the first one up is MyRepublic. The reason behind these interviews it to get to know the broadband providers and understand what they are really about. So, let's start!

Can you please give a bit of background on your company?

MyRepublic was New Zealand’s first fibre broadband only Internet Service Provider (ISP). We’re purpose built to deliver the full potential of Ultra-fast Fibre Broadband. MyRepublic started in Singapore in 2011, where we shifted the ISP landscape drastically and now we plan to do the same in NZ.

Our plans are truly unlimited and we’re ready to unleash the potential of our fibre broadband network from Whangarei to Invercargill down south. We’re committed to being at the forefront of helping customers take advantage of the fibre revolution, and delivering an awesome internet experience to all kiwis.

What are your values?

  • Always Fibre Ready.
  • Always Unlimited Data.
  • 1GBPS Will Happen.

As a company, what do you pride yourself on?

MyRepublic prides itself on being purpose built to deliver the full potential of Ultra-fast Fibre Broadband to all Kiwis.

What kind of services do you provide?

Beyond ultra-fast internet access, MyRepublic offers Pure, Gamer and Business fibre broadband plans to provide a customised, enhanced level of service that goes far beyond what is possible on older technologies.

For customers who aren’t fibre ready, we offer Boost VDSL, our stepping stone to fibre.

Where do you provide your services?

We believe in helping all Kiwi’s take advantage of fibre broadband. That’s why we offer our services nationwide, from the far north to the far south. We’ll do what we can to get you connected to the best connection available in your area.

What sets you apart from other providers?

We believe that fibre broadband is the future and that future is here and now. 100Mbps is only the beginning of what the network can offer and we’re excited to bring you the awesome innovations it’s making possible.

With the amazing potential of fibre broadband, data caps are a thing of the past. Built and managed properly, a fibre broadband network has more than enough bandwidth for everyday use without compromising performance. That’s why all of our plans are unlimited.

In 2014, MyRepublic became the first internet provider to launch 1Gbps (1000Mbps) at a mass market price in South Asia. Now we’re in New Zealand to usher in the same level of world-class performance.

We hope that you enjoyed our first interview and there are more to come! You can compare and sign up to any MyRepublic plan by going to glimp.co.nz

I was a little hesitant to stay on the call when I first picked up but I’m glad I stayed until I did. Josua Legavai was the lovely lady taking care of me. She was so friendly, clear and helpful. She helped me understand everything I needed to and explained everything with great detail. I am still young and learning and have just moved into a new home with my son so I’m grateful she was able to help me today.

I'm so happy I asked Glimp for help, to find a service provider that suits our family's budget, without losing quality and unlimited data on both our mobile phones and broadband. Mele Falahola is a Comparison Specialist from Glimp and she was amazing from the beginning. Mele located the right service provider for our needs that will save us money!, fulfil our usage and more! compared to what we were using. My wife and I even asked for a comparison on our electricity bill. Mele responded immediately once she saw our monthly bills and compared it to another provider that not only do not required a contract to stick too (like the mobile and broadband provider Mele recommended) but their price per kWh was so much better! Which is why we changed that also. Thank you Mele and Glimp for your help. We can now look forward to our Christmas holiday in the Cook Islands from what we can now save. :-)
