The Winter Energy Payment ends on October 1, 2021 as announced by The Ministry of Social Development (MSD).
Payments for the week beginning 4 October 2021 will include five days of Winter Energy Payment, and the first payment that does not include Winter Energy Payment will be made the week starting 11 October 2021.
Clients are most likely receiving $20.46 per week or $31.92 per week for couples and those caring for children.

The payment due on October 12 will include three days of Winter Energy Payment, and the first payment without Winter Energy Payment will be due on October 26, 2021.
