Cover4Travel insurance is a special policy only offered by Tower travel insurance; it is an ideal policy if you need travel insurance quickly for those last minute trip bookings, as you can receive a quote easily online and buy it all within the space of five minutes! The Cover4Travel policy represents excellent value, with cover starting from just $16 and protecting you from the big stuff like loss, theft, medical expenses and travel delays.
Provider travel insurance is Tower’s other primary travel insurance policy. Provider travel insurance is a fantastic option for those aged 65 and older who need cover for pre-existing medical conditions and who plan to be away for more than 120 days. Provider travel insurance has higher cover limits, so is perfect for those travelling with high value items such as cameras or expensive jewellery; if you’re planning on jetting away on that post retirement around-the-world trip, then don’t hesitate to consider Tower’s Provider travel insurance!
Yes! Tower travel Insurance covers dependent children living with you who are under the age of eighteen and travelling with you for free. Your children will be covered under your policy type, and you can choose to withdraw either an individual plan or a family plan; an individual plan works well if it is just you travelling with your children, whereas a family plan can cover you and your spouse and save you both some money. One thing to remember is that your children must have NZ residency.
Towers various travel insurance policies cover a range of activities. Their travel policies cover activities like cycling, surfing, paddle boarding, and running, but don’t cover more specialist adventurous activities like rock climbing, mountaineering, white water activities and ‘extreme’ versions of any sport. If you wish to add a specific activity to your insurance cover, it is best to call Tower and discuss this with them.
