Apple has just released its four new flagship phones: iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Pre-order now from your mobile plan providers such as Vodafone, Spark, and 2degrees to get early bird access.
The new line-up sports almost the same design as their predecessors, with just a few tweaks on their camera bumps and notch sizes. More than that, they come in new different colours, camera improvements, longer battery life, and a bigger storage capacity.
For those looking to upgrade to the newest smartphone in the market, here are the newest iPhone 13 mobile phone plans in New Zealand.
Note:
Vodafone offers pre-orders for all four phones in the iPhone 13 line-up. From mini to the Pro Max, you can pre-order them with the colour and storage capacity offered by Apple. Note that you have to pay a one-off $99 deposit upon payment, unless you purchase a device-only mobile deal.
Prices can range from $31.94 to $80.55 per month over a 36-month interest-free term on a $60 medium plan, depending on the storage capacity and the iPhone variant. A device-only plan costs $1,249-1,999 on its base models. This is actually cheaper compared to its predecessor, even if they have a bigger base storage capacity of 128GB.

Don’t know which plan is best for your needs? Here’s a friendly guide from Vodafone:
Spark also offers the newest iPhones for pre-order. You can only get up to the 256GB variant for iPhone 13 mini and the standard iPhone 13, while you can get the Pro variant for up to 512GB and Pro Max for up to 1TB. This is a variant lower than the maximum storage capacity that Apple offers, except for the Pro Max version.
If you’re purchasing over a 36-month interest-free, you have to pay at least $99, which will be deducted from your monthly payments. The exact amount that you have to pay in your pre-order depends on the credit check result from Spark. You can get your phone delivered right at your doorstep for free, or get it faster through Click and Collect.

Spark has great inclusions in their plans, so any pick would be fine. However, if you want to pick a plan that exactly matches your needs, here’s a comprehensive guide.
2degrees pre-orders are now on the roll for their newest line-up. After your order is confirmed, expect delivery within 4-6 weeks depending on the shipments. While you can pay for the smartphone in its full amount, the Trade-in Boost option is also available. Choosing this option can save you up to $600, depending on the model and condition of your current phone.
For now, you can only get this plan by signing up for an interest-free payment plan: 12, 24, and 36 months. You can lower your monthly plan by paying a portion of your smartphone upfront, costing anywhere from $29 to $499. Depending on this upfront payment, your monthly payments can cost between $37.50 and $54.72 per month on a 36-month term.

2degrees mobile plans are pretty straightforward, so it’s really easy to choose the right deal for you. Still, here’s a guide in choosing the right mobile plan for your needs:
If you’ve been putting off an upgrade for several years, now is the best time! Apple has tweaked and upgraded a lot of features that critics have been pointing out for so long. They've also introduced start-of-the-art features, leading the trend in the smartphone market.
For one, they now have a smaller notch! Tech experts and reviewers have been criticising the large notch, which can block a lot of info on the screen. A larger screen is always better for a more immersive streaming and gaming experience. The newest iPhone has all this innovation, while still retaining the best face ID recognition in the industry.
Plus, the screens of Pro variants now have a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate! This means a smoother and snappier experience while scrolling through the UI. The camera sensors are also bigger in this generation. They let more light in, which results in better low light shots and videos. Most of all, it comes with a more powerful chipset for more optimised day-to-day usage.
Just because the iPhone 13 line-up has fixed all the caveats of its predecessors, doesn’t mean you should upgrade. After all, if it’s not broken, why replace it, right? However, if your phone is now unsupported by the manufacturer — be it Android or iOS — it’s a smart choice to upgrade even if they may still work. Using an unsupported device can cause a lot of security problems.
Besides privacy issues, the phone may develop problems in battery life, screen, camera, and connectivity due to wear and tear. Some phones older than 5 years may need to be charged for half a day, only to be used for an hour or two. Instead of dealing with these issues every day, improve your mobile phone usage by upgrading to the latest model.
