This time we cover 2Degrees, a relatively new player in the broadband market. We will go into detail of who they are, what they do, what sort of broadband plans they offer and with what bundles.
2degrees is New Zealand's newest full service telecommunications provider. They have launched in 2009, and established a brand new mobile network in New Zealand, however 2degrees has been around for longer. In March 2015, they acquired Snap - NZ's fourth largest Internet Service Provider, and now offer broadband services.
Overall, 2degrees provides broadband services, mobile services and NEON, which provides an unlimited access to a world of TV and movies on demand. You can find out more about 2degrees by going to their About Page.
2degrees Broadband is all about simplicity, as they focus on helping customers choose broadband plans with ease, just like glimp. They aim to give you the best broadband connection available at your home, and you can simply add on a home phone or Fibre Speed Boost if you want it. 2degrees also has a 24/7 Customer Care Team, which is based in New Zealand and is ready to help you at any time.
At glimp we show 2degrees's best broadband plans, 32 to be exact with all the different permutations, which you can easily compare. How? We help you out and tailor the broadband plans based on the answers you gave to the questions that we asked you, which is pretty cool. So you know that we are showing you broadband plans that suit your needs.
2degrees offers broadband plans that are 80 gigabytes or Unlimited with various broadband technologies ( speeds ).
They cover VDSL, Fibre 30, Fibre 100 and Fibre 200 nationwide, so the chances are very high that you can get them at your home address. Don't be worried if you don't know what broadband technology is available at your address, because we take care of that for you! We know if your house can get VDSL or Fibre broadband speeds.
2degrees broadband plans can also come with a Landline for extra $15 per month but the majority of Kiwis are opting out of that with the increase in smartphone usage. Why pay extra for a landline if you rarely going to use it.
Lastly, the broadband plans come with a contract or no contract option where one offers you more flexibility, while the other has lower setup costs. The choice is yours :)
All right, let's have a look at all the extras that 2degrees offers with their broadband plans. If you sign up to 2degrees's broadband plans, you will get:
