Ahoy everyone!

There are great broadband deals being offered on a monthly basis, however they may go unnoticed! So here at, we decided to start releasing news about the best broadband deals available in New Zealand.

In our first edition we will highlight a few of our broadband providers and their best broadband deals that are currently on offer and how they can benefit you.

Are you looking to pay less for your broadband plan?

Well, look no further, TrustPower is offering a broadband plan on a 24 month term with unlimited data broadband for $49 a month for your first 12 months and only $84 for the second 12 months. You can save $420 in your first year, if you currently pay $84 per month, which is crazy!

However, there is a catch. You have to sign up to TrustPower power plan as well for those 24 months. This is perfect if you want to have one payment bill. We must say that we have not done any calculations on the power side, so don’t know what the savings will be there and we recommend talking to TrustPower about it.

The good news is soon you will be able to compare power prices and power companies through us, which makes us super excited!

All right, let's get onto the next broadband deal

Do you want Faster Broadband Speed and also get some Free Goodies with it?

Then we have the broadband deal for you! MyRepublic is offering for both Fibre and VDSL speeds on a 24 month contract the following packages. You can get either:

1. $200 Welcoming Credit, which is pretty much two months free broadband or

2. FREE Chromecast 2 with $160 Google Play Gift Card. That means now you can connect Chromecast to your TV and watch your favourite Youtube or Netflix videos, how cool is that? And you get $160, which you can spend on movies or songs or

3. FREE Razer Diamondback Mouse AND Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma Headset. A perfect package for PC gamers or

4. FREE Playstation Plus or Xbox Gold live membership for 12 months AND Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma or Kraken for Xbox One. A perfect package for console gamers.

We think MyRepublic has really hit the mark there with their broadband deals by offering their plans to almost every demographic in the market

Or are you looking for something with No Contract but also has some Free Goodies?

Lastly, let us introduce you to Bigpipe that offers only Unlimited and No Contract broadband plans in New Zealand. They have the following broadband deals on offer:

*edit - turns out the providers are all upgrading and the glimp site is more up to date* Both the highlighted deals i clicked through to get turned out to be inaccurate speeds. Glimp saying 300/100 both providers only offering 100/20 for the price given, despite giving the same address in both sites. still giving 3 stars though as regardless the deals through Glimp are better than the standard advertised deals on the providers site.

Sign up didn't go quite the way it was meant to. But Kate called and she walked through everything so we could work out what went wrong. she was patient, friendly, supportive and kept me calm to finally get plan registration sorted ( still can't log in though - she must be magic )
